Achim is one of the earliest commercially-available hybrids. This specimen bloomed in our garden in 2006. Mature plants are medium-sized, 18-20 inches in height and have rather large flowers, inherited from the "froschii" parent. Today, Cyp froschii
is considered a variant of Cyp tibeticum so really Cyp Achim is a grex of Cyp Bill (or rather, Bill is a grex of Achim since Achim was registered a year before Bill).
